Answers
Find quick answers to some of the most common questions about our products, services, installations, lead times, custom designs, and more. We’ve made it easy to get the information you need, helping you feel confident and informed every step of the way.
Which areas / regions do you serve?
- We operate across Gauteng and the North West, including Pretoria, Johannesburg (North, South, CBD, Sandton, East and West Rand), and Rustenburg and surrounding areas.
- We’ve also completed projects in Hazyview, Nelspruit, the Western Cape, and exported glass to the DRC.
How long does installation usually take?
Depending on the permutation, approximately 2-3 hours per shower.
Do you supply the glass and hardware?
Yes, we supply both the glass and all shower hardware, using trusted, industry-approved suppliers.
- The aluminium and glass industry is governed by AAAMSA (Association of Architectural Aluminium Manufacturers of South Africa) and SAGGA (South African Glass and Glazing Association). Our suppliers are corporate members of these associations, and all products are manufactured and installed according to strict industry specifications.
- Our glass is processed by SABS-approved glass plants and we typically use 8mm toughened safety glass for most shower installations. Clear glass is standard, while for WC enclosures we recommend 8mm metalux or satinato obscure glass for added privacy.
- We partner with leading South African hardware suppliers, ensuring all fittings are tested, durable, and backed by a 1-year warranty. Hardware is available in finishes such as bright polished chrome, black, antique brass, and satin.
- For framed shower doors, glass is available in clear or obscure (stippolyte), and frame options include white, black, or N25 natural anodised finishes. Our systems are designed and supplied to meet SAGGA specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and long-lasting performance.
Can you work from my design?
Yes, we will accommodate designs as far as possible, keeping in mind specifications, sizes and weight.
Do you do installations over weekends?
Yes, we can arrange for weekend installations.
Do you remove old shower enclosures?
Yes, we do.
When can you measure the enclosure?
Final measurements can only be taken when the tiling has been completed.
What about water pipes?
Please ask your renovator, project manager or plumber on the location of the water pipes. We do try to locate the copper pipes with a machine, but we prefer to get first hand information from the customer to verify.
